Everything you need to get the most out of ContractWatchAI — from your first analysis to understanding what each clause means.
Getting started
ContractWatchAI is free and requires no account or sign-up. Here is how to run your first analysis:
-
1Go to the analyser Open the App page in your browser.
-
2Paste your contract Copy the full text of a sponsorship, brand-deal, or endorsement agreement and paste it into the text area. The free tier supports up to 5,000 characters.
-
3Click "Analyse" The tool processes your contract through an AI model and returns a clause-by-clause breakdown. Each clause shows the original text alongside a plain-English explanation, a concern level, and a question to ask your lawyer.
-
4Review clause by clause Read each clause in order. The concern level tells you at a glance whether a term is routine (none / low) or worth a closer look (medium / high). The plain-English reading explains what the clause commits you to.
Frequently asked questions
Is this legal advice?
No. ContractWatchAI is a reading tool, not a law firm. The analysis is generated by an AI model and is for informational purposes only. It can help you understand what a clause says in plain English, but it cannot tell you whether a term is legally enforceable in your jurisdiction, whether you should sign, or what the legal consequences of breach would be. Always consult a qualified lawyer before signing a contract.
What types of contracts does it work with?
ContractWatchAI is designed for sponsorship, brand-deal, and endorsement agreements — the kinds of contracts independent creators receive from brands. It works best on contracts that have a standard clause structure (exclusivity, usage rights, payment, termination, indemnification). If you paste text that is not a contract, the tool will flag it as such. It may produce less useful results for non-standard agreements, employment contracts, or legal documents outside the sponsorship domain.
How accurate is the analysis?
The analysis is generated by a large language model (LLM) and can contain errors, omissions, or misinterpretations. The concern level is an automated estimate, not a legal assessment. Always verify the analysis against the original contract text — the tool shows both side by side so you can check. Do not rely on the analysis as the sole basis for any signing decision. If a term seems important or unclear, ask a lawyer.
Is my contract text stored or shared?
No. Contract text you paste is sent to the AI analysis provider for the sole purpose of generating your clause breakdown. It is not stored on our servers, not used for training, and not retained after the analysis is returned. The tool does not create user accounts, so there is no way to retrieve or re-view a past analysis. See the Privacy Policy for full details.
What is the character limit?
The free tier supports up to 5,000 characters per analysis. This covers most standard sponsorship contracts. The text area shows a character counter so you know how close you are to the limit. A paid Pro tier with a higher limit is planned for future release but is not yet available.
Can I save or share my analysis?
Not yet. ContractWatchAI does not have user accounts, so there is no way to save, bookmark, email, or share an analysis through the platform. We recommend taking a screenshot or copying the clause breakdown text before closing the page. The ability to save and share analyses is a planned feature for the Pro tier.
Known limitations
We believe in being straightforward about what ContractWatchAI can and cannot do. Here are the current limitations:
- 5,000 character limit on the free tier. Longer contracts cannot be analysed until the Pro tier launches.
- No user accounts. You cannot save, retrieve, or share analysis results. Each session is ephemeral.
- Pro tier not yet available. The $12/month Pro subscription (higher character limits, faster processing) is listed on the pricing page but cannot be purchased yet. No payment processor is connected.
- No email support channel. (See "Contact us" below.)
- No email notifications, alerts, or scheduled re-checks. The tool is a paste-and-analyse service only.
- No legal entity registered yet. The operator has not incorporated or registered a business entity. This means no jurisdiction, no registered address, and no formal legal standing.
- No payment processor connected. The checkout flow on the pricing page is a demonstration only. No real charges can be made.
- Sponsorship contracts only. The tool is optimised for sponsorship, brand-deal, and endorsement agreements. It may not perform well on other types of legal documents.
Contact us
We are a small operation and have not yet set up a dedicated support email address. Here is how to reach us in the meantime:
Report a bug or request a feature
If you have encountered a bug, have a suggestion, or need help with the tool, the best way to reach us is currently through the project's issue tracker. If you found this site through a specific platform or directory, check that source for contact instructions.
Email support is not yet available. We recognise this is a gap and plan to add a support email address once the operator establishes a legal entity. Until then, we ask for your patience.
